CHARITY TEAM MEMBERS
1969 - 2019
My family and I would like to thank you for the outpouring of love and support each of you have given to us. It has been a great source of comfort as we mourn the sudden loss of Kwamie. We deeply appreciate all who wish to share their condolences and pay their respects, as Kwamie was so near and dear to all that knew him. He was special in the way that he extended his friendship and truly made one feel cherished by him.
Out family held a memorial service in Hampton on January 26, 2019. We will hold a celebration of his life at a later date in Arizona.
Also, a donation can be made to The Kwamie Lassiter Foundation or The Kwamie and Ericka Lassiter Endowment Fund at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, KS both will allow his vision and legacy to live on.
Again, the Lassiter Family thank you for your love and support during our darkest hours.
Welcome To The Kwamie Lassiter Foundation
RAISE AWARENESS FOR SICKLE CELL ANEMIA
The Lassiter family has always been committed to serving the communities. In May 1999, NFL Safety for the Arizona Cardinals, Kwamie Lassiter and his wife Ericka, created the Lassiter T.A.C.K.L.E Foundation, Teaching All Children to Kickoff Leadership through Education, to help children with the challenges they face in school.
T.A.C.K.L.E. focused on providing available educational resources and addressing critical issues that may have affected learning for underserved students.
Become a Volunteer
Our initiative goes beyond helping those with sickle cell anemia; we bring communities together to solve local problems with local solutions. Take action, have a health awareness dialogue in your community!
